The hospital of the island has no specific emergency service.

Nevertheless, the 7 general practioners who work at the health center are trained for emergencies and collaborate with the SAMU 85 (Urgent Medical Aid Service).

In extreme situation the SAMU will organize the evacuation by lifeboat or helicopter to the next EMERGENCY SERVICE on mainland. CHALLANS Emergencies
